New Releases: July Dog and Scottie July Dog from the Dog Days Series

 

    

        

The July Dog and Scottie July Dog are out! The monthly Dog Days Series that started last year (in August) has a dog for each month. But don't worry... If you've stitched them all and are hoping for more dogs to add to your collection, there are plenty other Dog Day Series patterns already out, and more coming out in the future! 

Since the US Independence Day is in July, this is a patriotic pattern... it has our patriotic colors and the American flag.  BUT... I know there are a lot of international stitchers that are stitching my patterns, so my PDF download also includes a second chart for July for each dog (see the second row of images). The international version replaces the US flag with a floral motif, and is stitched in shades of mauve and green.  ❤️

New Releases: Gathered from the Garden: Watermelon and Gathered from the Garden: The Garden Perch

 

These two summer designs are part of the Gathered from the Garden series. Gathered from the Garden: Watermelon and Gathered from the Garden: The Garden Perch join Gathered from the Garden: Wanda's Garden Path (that's a lot of gardening!). This is a growing series that also has ladybug patterns out (Gathered from the Garden: Ladybug and Gathered from the Garden: Little Ladybugs), pumpkins coming out in the fall, and strawberries on the way in the spring!

We tried to grow a watermelon here a couple years ago, and it only got to be about the size of a silver dollar (if that). I am not sure what went wrong with it, but we haven't tried again since. It would be nice to have home-grown, but I guess I'll have to keep getting them from the farm stands and grocery stores... at least for now!

New Releases: Liberty Dog and Scottie Liberty Dog

 

 

The Liberty Dog and Scottie Liberty Dog are out, just in time for Independence Day! They are part of the Dog Days Series, in case you'd like to see the other adorable dog designs!  😊🐶

In 2 days, the US will be celebrating our 250th Anniversary. I plan to stay home and watch fireworks from my air conditioned (and dry) home...  Right now they are predicting a heat index getting near 90 degrees in the evening (and over 100 in the afternoon!), and rain for Saturday evening's "fireworks time." 

We have a heat index this week in the low 100s for several days, so this is a stay-at-home-and-inside type of week for me. A good reason to do some extra cross stitching, right?  🥰
