New Release: Liberty Cat Cross Stitch Pattern 5587 from the Cat Tales Collection by Happiness Is HeartMade - A Patriotic Tuxedo Cat

 

The Liberty Cat cross stitch pattern is part of the Cat Tales Collection by Happiness Is HeartMade. 

I wanted to do something patriotic for the 250th Anniversary with our adorable tuxedo cat, so this design is what happened! I included the word LIBERTY at the top, and 1776, but I did not include the year 2026. This was on purpose because I did not want to make this design something that would really only fit for this year... I wanted this Liberty design to be something appropriate for years to come!

The Americana-style motifs, the Liberty Bell, American Flag, Bald Eagle, and stars, are symbols we use this time of year during our Independence Day celebration, so I wanted to be sure to include those. 

This is a cute companion piece to the Patriotic USA Cat and July Cat. What a trio!  🐈‍⬛ ❤️ 🥰 

New Release: A Dinner of Herbs / Proverbs 15:17 (KJV) Cross Stitch Pattern

 

The A Dinner of Herbs cross stitch pattern is based on Proverbs 15:17 (King James Version): "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith." It is definitely a verse that puts things into perspective. ❤️

This pattern came about when someone requested a design with this Bible verse on it. There are not many counted cross stitch designs with this Scripture verse, so I am so glad to have the opportunity to create one! I think this one is perfect for the kitchen.  😊

New Release: An American Home Patriotic Cross Stitch Pattern

 

 

I am having just too much fun with these patriotic patterns this year!

The Americana designs are really drawing me in this year... the 250th Anniversary gives us so many opportunities for new cross stitch designs! When I started designing An American Home, I wanted it to feel warm, familiar, and welcoming—like the kind of place that makes you think of summer, family gatherings, and small-town Americana.

An American Home is a patriotic house sampler featuring a classic American home beneath an American flag, surrounded by flowering gardens, ornamental trees, stars, hearts, and patriotic bunting. The design also includes an optional commemorative version to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary.

The design measures 111 stitches wide by 83 stitches high and uses only whole stitches.

I hope you enjoy stitching it as much as I enjoyed designing it!

Ladybugs!

Two new cross stitch patterns are out today — Gathered from the Garden: Ladybug, and Gathered from the Garden: Little Ladybugs.

Stitch them together or stitch them separately! The Ladybug design features a larger vertical layout (53w x 81h), and the Little Ladybugs is a smaller square design with a different lettering style and layout (53w x 53h). They are complementary pieces, but not exactly the same. The letters on ABC are narrower than the letters on LADYBUG, but the style is similar. 😊

We have plenty of Ladybugs right now, but not today... it's a rainy, chilly day... the perfect sort of day for cross stitching!

Happy May! I can't believe it's already May! I think I say that, at least to myself, almost every month, and even more-so the older I get.
