Three patterns were released recently... The Cat with Holly and Ornaments came out yesterday.  This cute pattern features the same Cat from the Cat Tales Collection patterns, but in a smaller size. Since the Dog patterns were also requested, those are out today, with smaller versions of Dog and Scottie Dog, from the Dog Days Series. The design stitch count is only 59w x 59h, so you can easily finish it waaaaay before Christmas...

I've probably already mentioned this somewhere, but I love autumn... it's my favorite season. This was a fun chart to create, with the little squirrel holding an acorn. We don't have many squirrels here... I've only seen a couple (we don't have many large trees in the yard). Our previous home had a small section of woods in the yard, so we had squirrels all the time there, which was really nifty. 

Well, if you're stitching the monthly cats, there's only one left to go after this one! If you're stitching the dogs, they will continue into 2026 until all of the monthly dog patterns are out.  😊

New Release: Faith: Hebrews 11:1 KJV Bible Verse Cross Stitch Pattern

 

This isn't exactly a bluebird, but the colors remind me of the bluebirds we had at the feeders this morning. Each year we get at least one birdhouse with bluebirds, which is wonderful!

This pattern is called Faith: Hebrews 11:1. The idea behind the bird and nest of eggs was that the birds attend the nest, with faith that the eggs will hatch. They are believing as fact, something that is yet to happen... sort of like our faith in the things of God... we have faith that God will accomplish the things He promises to His children.

New Release: Sunflower Serenade Cross Stitch Pattern

 

A warming cross stitch pattern for the cooling weather... The Sunflower Serenade cross stitch pattern uses 2 shades of yellow, green, and brown. 

This design was inspired by a chart in an early 1900s needlework book.

New Release: Beekeeping Crows Cross Stitch Pattern

 

This time of year, we have several crows in the yard (I can hear them outside while I write this). They disappear for awhile in late summer, then come back for the fall. I enjoy watching them... they've got a lot of personality! 

The Beekeeping Crows is a set of 3 patterns that have crows, sunflowers and bees... a beautiful stitch for this time of year.

Pigeons and Strawberries Cross Stitch Pattern

 

We have a flock of pigeons that I see sometimes when I head toward town... it made me think of this pattern from a few months ago... 

The Pigeons and Strawberries design has a pair of adorable pigeons surrounded by strawberries, little white flowers, and hearts. The stitch count on this is 87w x 59h, so it's not a huge project. This was the first pigeon design I did, and I hope to do some more. We have been getting a pigeon loft ready for next spring...

Pumpkin Spice can be a controversial topic...  

but I'm glad that it's Pumpkin Spice season... 

I love all the warm spices that go with it 

(cinnamon is one of my favorites!). 

Autumn is my favorite time of year, 

so this pattern was an enjoyable one to work on

(well, they're all enjoyable (almost!), 

but this one a little bit more).

September Cat, the next Cat design in the monthly Cat Tales Collection is out... This month’s design has Cat sitting outside on a sunny day, surrounded by sunflowers and hearts, enjoying the final days of summer.

Next are September Dog and Scottie September Dog. These are the new designs in the monthly Dog Days patterns... These will continue through July 2026.
