Happy May! I can't believe it's already May! I think I say that, at least to myself, almost every month, and even more-so the older I get.

So far, May has brought us some beautiful weather.  😊  Today is supposed to be in the upper 60s, which will be really nice. Maybe a nice day to do some stitching outside...

New Release: 1776 Bunny Patriotic Cross Stitch Pattern

 

This was such a fun pattern to design... I just adore the bunny, and plan to make other designs with similar bunnies. The 1776 Bunny cross stitch pattern is a patriotic design for the 250th Anniversary of the United States. She's got the Liberty Bell next to her, and the year 1776 below her. I thought the border was just the cutest, with the stars and tiny flowers... If you're looking for something patriotic to stitch and you think she's as cute as I do, you can find her here.

New Release: Sentinels of '76 Patriotic Cross Stitch Pattern - Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the USA

 

We have eagles around here. Occasionally, we see them when we are driving around, and we've seen them from our home a few times. Last year we had a pair of eagles fly by not 200 feet away from the house. They are beautiful, majestic birds. 

I wanted to do a patriotic design to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States (1776-2026), and decided to do one with eagles. I named it Sentinels of '76 because a sentinel is a guard or protector, and this design symbolically shows our nation bird as a guardian of the flag, the heart, and the home. I just love designs with birds and / or houses! 😊

Now to work on my next patriotic design... 1776 Bunny.  🐰

New Releases: March Dog and Scottie March Dog Cross Stitch Patterns

 

 

The March Dog and Scottie March Dog from the Dog Days Series are out today, joining the March Cat from the Cat Tales Collection, which was released in 2025. These March designs will get you ready for St. Patrick's Day next month! 

Spring is only a few days behind St. Patrick's Day, and I'm extra-ready for it this year! We have had nice temperatures the past week, but before that it seems like we had over 3 weeks with high temperatures below freezing (regular temps or wind chill temps). We had about 6" snow, then hours of sleet, then hours of freezing rain on a Sunday into Monday, and it covered the ground for 3 weeks as an icy blanket. We're not used to that here! But I am thankful that everything was fine, and it was only an inconvenience for us... I know that people in other areas had it a lot worse than we did. 

But like I said... I'm so ready for spring!    🌞🌷

New Release: Sent With Love Teddy Bear Cross Stitch Pattern

 

If you're still looking for something to stitch for Valentine's Day, this little design is only 53w x 53h. It was fun to design... I wanted to make the border look like a postage stamp to match the theme... 

The Sent With Love Teddy Bear is similar to Beary Loved... both of them are new for Valentine's Day 2026. I hope you enjoy stitching them!
